Practical, Accessible Life-Saving Skills for All Learners


Life-saving skills should be accessible. Instruction can be adapted. Participation can be meaningful at many levels.


Original Pathways offers Adult and Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED training designed to meet learners where they are. Sessions are paced thoughtfully, with attention to comprehension, sensory needs, and confidence-building.


Training focuses on understanding core life-saving techniques and practicing them in ways that feel structured and manageable.

Every participant can learn foundational life-saving techniques. Instruction is adjusted to support engagement and understanding.

Training can be delivered:


• In small groups

• One-on-one

• In community settings

• As part of vocational preparation


Our approach is to achieve competence through practice, clarity, and pacing - not pressure.   


Training aligns with each participant’s learning style and natural momentum.


Learning life-saving skills builds confidence, autonomy, and real-world readiness.

Certification Information


Original Pathways provides instruction through a certified American Red Cross instructor.

Participants who meet American Red Cross performance and assessment standards may choose to pursue official certification.


Certification:

  • Is optional
  • Is not guaranteed
  • Is determined according to Red Cross standards
  • Is processed directly through the American Red Cross
  • Requires an additional $50 fee per participant
     

The certification fee covers the Red Cross-issued digital certificate and associated processing costs.


Learners who do not pursue or qualify for certification still receive meaningful, hands-on training in approved life-saving methods.
